YNU (Yokohama National University)
On the basis of his 40 year experience of Fujitsu HR, he established his office, Kentaro office, at Tokyo in 2016. From 1966 to 1998 he participated in IMPM (International Master Program for Managers) which was organized by Prof. Henry Mintzberg of McGill University. He has been promoting Coaching Ourselves in Japan for more than 10 years. From 2018 he became Co-Director of IMPM Japan Module which is held at YNU. He is also an adjunct lecturer, Yokohama Business School (YNU). Coaching Ourselves is a short version of IMPM which was also created by Prof. Mintzberg. At this point more than 2000 managers in Japan have completed this program. In Fujitsu more than 500 managers. He is promoting two initiatives which are peer learning systems in Fujitsu Group companies. He started Fujitsu Marketing In-house Business School with Yokohama Business School (YNU). This in-house business school has been continuing for 6 years so far. Another initiative is Fujitsu Social Science Laboratory In-house MOT (Management of Technology) School which he designed and started in this April with Tokyo University of Science. His other activities are as follows; Kentaro is an associated research scholar of Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University and has been a member of the International Advisory Board of Exeter Business School from 2003.
